Bwin.Party and Weswit
Bwin.Party and Weswit have struck an extended partnership agreement this week. This deal will obligate Weswit to power Bwin.Party’s platforms with pervasive live data delivery over the internet.
This technology is called the Lightstreamer technology. This new technology will be used in various gaming platforms of Bwin.Party including poker, bingo and casino products. This Lightstreamer technology would allow the real time streaming of live gaming data and messaging across the multiple applications and channels of Bwin.Party. This includes iPad, iPhone, Android and HTML5 among other platforms.
Tod Martin, the Technology Director of Bwin.Party stated that Lightstreamer is the only logical technological solution that can handle the complicated data communication that is needed for their state-of-the-art products.
He also added that Bwin.Party is certain that this solution is going to provide the company with what it needs in order to provide customers with a high quality gambling experience.
On the other hand, the Chairman of Weswit, Mauro Fantechi has stated that the company is more than glad that its advanced solution, Lightstreamer, has become a part a leading name in gambling such as Bwin.Party. He also added that Lightstreamer is going to be used in a well-known gaming environment that is home to many gaming platforms. This vouches for the quality of the solution and its benefits for the gambling industry. In the end, he added that he wishes to have a long term business relationship with a big name like Bwin.Party.

I hope that after the sale of Ongame, Bwin and Parting gaming would start rebuilding Party Poker so it can get back to its previous glory, it used to be one of my favorite poker websites.
I did not fully understand what that Lightstreamer technology is, so I had to Google it and I was surprised. I was also glad that Bwin.Party started to utilize it. It means a lot for the users of Bwin.Party and it will surely help them get Party Poker back on the map once again.
