William Hill and ESPN Sign Deal for App

William Hill, the United Kingdom Bookmaker has signed a partnership deal with ESPN Goals app. This deal named Will Hill as the exclusive wagering partner of the app. In return, William Hill will supply the app with live odds for the English Premier League through the “Betting Zone”. According to this deal, William Hill is going to be the sole brand on the loading page of the ESPN app. This would allow the users to place wagers on the English Premier League in real-time by clicking the “Bet Now” button of William Hill. This would allow them to place their bets without having to exit the app.

The in-house team of both, William Hill and ESPN, developed these banners. They designed the banner ads that promote William Hill to players as they are using the app. Besides the banner ads, there are also video ads that appear surrounding any video content. This way, players can see the ad while they are going through the app or watching a video and as mentioned above, one of its main advantages that players do not have to exit the app to place wagers. The ESPN Goals app can be downloaded for free at Apple iTunes, Nokia OVI Store, Google Play, Windows Phone marketplace and the Blackberry App World.

Commenting on this new partnership, the sales director of ESPN, Alan Fagan stated that this new deal shows the company's ability to provide brands with important and integrated advertising solutions that links them with fans of the sport.
